Tirumala Laddu received Geographical Indication (GI) tag under the GI Act 1999. Only TTD can officially make and distribute this sacred prasadam. The recipe dates back to 1715, making it over 300 years old.

Proktham Laddu
Medium Size (~175g)
- Given to all darshan devotees
- One FREE laddu after darshan
- Can buy extra (max 2 per ticket)

Asthanam Laddu
Large Size (~750g)
- Given to Kalyanotsavam seva participants
- Available for Arjitha Seva devotees
- Limited quantity prepared daily
- Larger and more premium ingredients
- Highly sought after - limited availability
📋 How to Get Laddus
Free Laddu After Darshan
Every devotee gets ONE free laddu after completing darshan. Just proceed to the laddu distribution counter after exiting the temple. Show your darshan ticket/ID.
Extra Laddus During Online Booking
When booking Special Entry Darshan (₹300) online, you can pre-book extra laddus (max 2 per ticket at ₹50 each). Payment is made during booking. Collect at designated counter after darshan.
Laddu Counters on West Mada Street
After darshan, visit the laddu counters on West Mada Road. Show your darshan ticket and ID. Pay ₹50 per additional laddu. Maximum 4-6 extra laddus per person (varies by availability).
Through Arjitha Sevas
Seva participants (Thomala, Archana, Kalyanotsavam etc.) receive laddus as part of the seva prasadam. Kalyanotsavam gives the premium Asthanam laddu (₹200 size).
